2. Website access and technical operation
When this website is accessed, technically necessary connection data (in particular IP address, date and time of access, requested resources, referrer URL and browser/device identifier) is automatically recorded. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the maintenance of technical operations, the assurance of security and stability, and the prevention of misuse.
Hosting and server operation are provided by conova communications GmbH. conova acts as a technical processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR; conova does not pass on the data for its own purposes.
Server log retention period: According to conova’s written confirmation, access logs and error logs are each retained for 14 days and then deleted automatically.
3. Enquiries by email
Messages sent to info@gold-dossier.com are received through a conova mailbox and automatically forwarded to a central internal inbox.
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide voluntarily (in particular name and email address) for the purpose of handling and answering your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the handling and documentation of your enquiry. The retention of ordinary contact enquiries is governed by the organisational rule set out below.
Conova has confirmed that technical outgoing mail logs for the webhost's local mail server are retained for four days. These logs record the sender, recipient, webhost user, receiving mail server and status code. This purely static Phase 1 website does not send contact form emails through PHP. The four-day period is not a retention period for mailbox correspondence or messages forwarded to the internal central inbox.
Messages are initially received by a conova domain mailbox. The email services used for forwarding and responding, as well as the receiving mail servers, are also involved in this processing. The exact technical recipient chain beyond the confirmed conova hosting product and the retention cycles of any mailbox backups are not established by the four-day outgoing mail log period.
Retention of ordinary contact enquiries: Once their handling is completed, they are generally retained for no longer than six months. We review these records at least monthly and arrange deletion in time to ensure that the six-month limit is not exceeded between reviews. Statutory retention obligations, evidence required for business transactions and specific legitimate claims remain unaffected. Technical mailbox backups are handled separately from this organisational deletion rule.
4. Referral links to a third party
This website contains clearly identified referral links to TRUST GOLD International Limited. Clicking on such a link redirects you to the provider's platform. From the moment of redirection, the privacy notices and terms of the provider apply. GOLD DOSSIER has no influence over data processing by TRUST GOLD International Limited. In connection with the referral link, GOLD DOSSIER may transmit information that serves to attribute a qualifying action (e.g. a referrer identifier). The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the commission-funded referral relationship.
5. Cookies and external services
This website uses no analytics services, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies and no social media plugins. No external fonts or external tracking resources are loaded at runtime. Where technically necessary, only local resources are used.
6. Recipients and international transfers
Where necessary for hosting, technical provision or email communications, personal data are processed by the relevant service providers. A data processing agreement is in place with conova for the hosting service. According to conova, no further sub-processors are used for the relevant hosting product; this statement does not automatically cover email services outside that product or receiving mail servers. This website does not arrange additional transfers for advertising or profiling. Without specific technical evidence, no blanket assertion is made that all email-related personal data are processed exclusively within the European Economic Area.
7. Data subject rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. The competent supervisory authority in Austria is the Data Protection Authority (DSB), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
8. Updates
This privacy policy reflects the current status. It may be updated when processing activities or legal requirements change.
